The short version

Two review sites, two different products

G2 rates Static.app 4.7 out of 5 across 30 reviews, and the praise there is consistent. Reviewers describe dragging in a folder and getting a live site with SSL, without a server to configure. Trustpilot sits at 3.7 across 21 reviews, 19% of them one star.

28 of the 30 G2 reviews were posted between 18 August and 2 September 2026, mostly by small-business users validated through LinkedIn. Trustpilot's profile page says the company has no recent history of asking for reviews and has had 5 reviews in the past twelve months. G2 labels all 30 as organic, written without an invitation or an incentive.

A burst of reviews is not evidence of anything on its own. What it does mean is that the 4.7 describes a fortnight rather than five years, and that matters when a score is the thing you are relying on.

The verdict

What the reviews actually tell you

Static.app is well liked, and its support is praised more often than anything else about it. Reviewers on both sites name a person who replied quickly and fixed the thing they had written in about.

The one-star reviews name three things: an account suspended after an upload, an upload that failed, and a trial page deleted at the end of the trial.

None of those failure modes needs an account here. 25MB publishes with no signup, up to 3 links at a time for 7 days, and a free account holds 10 links at 25MB a file with no expiry and no card.
