How Static.app pricing works
Static.app has 3 paid plans and no free one, and the tiers are set by how many websites you host and how much storage they use. Traffic is unlimited on every paid plan, so a busy site does not push you up a rung. Before you pay there is a 7-day trial of 1 website on 50MB, with no card.
Annual billing is paid up front. Their FAQ says: "Annual: You pay up front for 12 months and get 2 months free." Starter costs $6 a month billed monthly, or $60 a year, which works out at $5 a month.

Per year if billed monthly is twelve monthly payments. Per month annually is the annual price divided by twelve, rounded to the nearest dollar.

Costs to watch
Every plan caps how many websites it holds, from 1 in the trial to 30 on Large. Starter holds 2, so a third website there is an add-on, and a single extra website costs $4.
Storage is metered too, from 50MB in the trial to 10GB on Large. The first extra gigabyte costs $5, which is $1 less than Starter itself costs a month.
The trial lasts 7 days, and after it a site needs a paid plan to stay published.

What you actually pay
Static.app is cheaper at entry. Starter costs $6 a month or $60 a year, where the Pro plan here costs $12 a month or $120 a year. Their trial also takes a larger file, 50MB against 25MB here, though the trial ends after 7 days. The free plan here does not end, and each link on it stays up for 14 days.
The API, the MCP server and a third website all cost more there. The API and MCP server come with the 7-day trial and then need Starter at $6 a month, where both stay on the free plan here, and a third website on Starter is a $4 add-on.
