What visitors see

Your site opens at its own address.

Share the link and the site opens like any website, with its own pages, styles and scripts. Visitors need no account, and a site on a free account carries no NudgeHost banner.

  • Its own nudgehost.site address
  • Links between pages work as they did on your computer
  • No banner on a free account

Before you upload

Three kinds of site that go straight up.

Each one ends up as a ZIP with an index.html inside. Pick the one that matches what you have.

Front page found for you

A folder of HTML files

Zip the folder as it is. If everything sits inside one folder, NudgeHost looks inside it, and the index.html nearest the top becomes the front page.

App routes work

A React, Vue or Svelte build

Run your build, then zip the dist or build folder. A page the app routes itself, such as /about, loads the app instead of a 404.

Built page used

A CodePen export

Upload the export as it downloads. When src and dist both hold an index.html, the site opens on the built page in dist, with nothing to pick by hand.

How it works

From folder to live site in three steps.

  1. Zip the folder

On Windows, right-click the folder and choose Compress to ZIP file, or Send to and then Compressed (zipped) folder. On a Mac, right-click and choose Compress.

  2. Drop the ZIP

Drag it onto the uploader or tap Choose a file. It works without an account.

  3. Share the address

The site goes live at its own nudgehost.site address as soon as the upload finishes. Copy it and send it anywhere.

After it's live

The site keeps working after launch.

Updating works on every account plan. Your own domain comes with Pro and Studio.

Every account plan

Update it, keep the address

Upload a new ZIP over the old one. The address stays the same, so everyone you've already sent it to sees the new version.

Pro and Studio

Put it on your own domain

Pro attaches one domain you own and Studio five, on a subdomain such as www.yourname.com. A site on your own domain can show up in Google.

Free plan and up

Publish from a script or an agent

The API and the MCP server work on the free plan, so a deploy script or an AI assistant can publish the ZIP and hand back the address.

Free hosting, plainly

What a free site covers.

NudgeHost serves static sites, built from HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images and fonts. Nothing runs on a server, so an app written in PHP, Node or Python needs a different host. A React, Vue or other single page app works, because pages the app routes itself load the app instead of a 404.

Each site gets a subdomain of its own on nudgehost.site. Those addresses ask search engines not to list them, so a free site is for the people you send the link to. To have the site show up in Google, put it on your own domain with Pro.

If all you have is a single page, host an HTML file instead.

The free plan keeps 10 links live with no end date, and you never have to sign in to keep a site online.

Frequently asked questions

  • Is it really free?

Yes. A free account keeps up to 10 sites or files online with no end date, no banner and no cap on visitors, and you don't need a card to sign up.

  • Do I need an account?

No. Upload signed out and the site goes live straight away. It lasts 7 days, carries a small NudgeHost bar, and you can hold 3 at once. Make a free account and your sites move across, the bar goes and they stop expiring.

  • How long does a free site stay online?

Until you delete it. A site on a free account has no end date, and you never have to sign in to keep it online. You can also give any site an end date of your own.

  • What kind of website can I host?

A static site, made of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images and fonts. That covers hand-written sites, templates and the build output of React, Vue or Svelte. Nothing runs on a server, so PHP, Node and Python apps need a different host.

  • My files are inside a folder in the ZIP. Will it work?

Yes. If everything sits inside one folder, NudgeHost looks inside it, and the index.html nearest the top becomes the front page. Zipping the folder or zipping its contents gives the same site.

  • Will a React or Vue app with its own routing work?

Yes. A path the app routes itself, such as /about, loads the app's index.html instead of a 404, so the app can show the right page. A missing image or script still returns a 404.

  • How big can my site be?

On the free plan, the ZIP and the unpacked site both have to fit in 25MB. On Pro and Studio the ZIP can be up to 100MB, and the site it unpacks into can grow to 250MB on Pro or 1GB on Studio. A site holds up to 200 files.

  • How do I update my site?

Sign in, open the site in your dashboard, choose Replace file and upload the new ZIP. The address stays the same, so everyone who has the link sees the new version.

  • Can I use my own domain?

Yes, on Pro and Studio. Pro attaches one domain and Studio five, and each points at a zipped site on a subdomain you own, such as www.yourname.com.

  • Will Google find my site?

Not on a free nudgehost.site address. Those addresses ask search engines not to list them, which keeps spam sites from borrowing the domain's good name. A free site is for the people you send the link to. If you want your site to show up in Google, put it on your own domain with Pro. Sites on a custom domain don't carry that tag.

  • Is there a visitor or bandwidth limit?

No. NudgeHost puts no cap on visitors or bandwidth, on any plan.

  • Can an AI agent publish a site for me?

Yes. The API and the MCP server work on every account plan, the free plan included. An assistant uploads the ZIP and gets back the site's address.
