Host a Webflow export as a live site.

Webflow's code export gives you a ZIP of your pages, styles, scripts and images. NudgeHost runs that ZIP as a site, free up to 25MB and 200 files, with 10 sites live at once. CMS content, forms and site search stay behind in Webflow.

What they see

Your Webflow design, live at its own address.

The exported pages go live at their own nudgehost.site address. Send the link and the site opens like any website, with its styles, scripts and images in place. A site uploaded without an account carries a small NudgeHost bar along the bottom until you claim it with a free account.

  • Its own nudgehost.site address
  • /about serves about.html
  • No Webflow account needed to open it

How it works

From Webflow to a live link in three steps.

  1. Export and drop

In Webflow, open Main menu, then Code export, or press Shift + E. Click Prepare ZIP, download it and drag it onto the uploader as it is. Signed out, the ZIP can be up to 25MB, and you can keep 3 links live at a time.

  2. Copy the site's address

NudgeHost unpacks the ZIP and the site goes live at its own address. Name the link in the upload card first and it reads like harbour-bakery.nudgehost.site.

  3. Send it to anyone

Paste it into an email or a chat, or share the QR code your dashboard draws for it. Whoever opens it needs no Webflow account and no NudgeHost one.

After you send it

Keep designing in Webflow, keep the link.

Replacing works on every account plan. Passwords and custom domains come with Pro and Studio.

Every account plan

Upload each export over the last

The address, the view count and any password or end date stay the same, so everyone with the link sees the latest design.

Pro and Studio

Lock it before launch

Webflow's page passwords don't come with the export. A password on the NudgeHost link covers every page of the site.

Pro and Studio

Put it on your own domain

Connect a subdomain you own, such as www.yourname.com, 1 on Pro or 5 on Studio. A root domain such as yourname.com isn't supported. The site there can be found in Google like any other website.

QR codes, end dates and replacing a site work on every account plan. A site uploaded without an account shows a small NudgeHost bar along the bottom of each page until you claim it with a free account. A password-protected site doesn't serve on a custom domain, so pick one or the other.

What comes across

What Webflow's code export carries over.

Webflow's help article on code export lists what the ZIP holds and what stays behind in Webflow. The NudgeHost column shows what happens once the ZIP is uploaded.

Webflow's help article also lists User Accounts, Ecommerce, reCAPTCHA, code components and every language but the site's primary one as left out of the export. Collections can be exported separately as CSV for a backup.

What a Webflow export needs to run here.

Webflow's code export needs a paid Webflow plan, and the free Starter plan doesn't include it. Once you have the ZIP, Webflow says the exported site needs no Webflow plan and no attribution to keep working.

Upload the ZIP as it downloads. NudgeHost runs it as a site at its own nudgehost.site subdomain, opens it on the index.html file nearest the top of the archive, and serves /about from about.html. The steps are the same as when you host a Replit export, without a build to run first.

When the design changes, export again and swap the file without changing the URL. The free plan keeps 10 sites live with no end date.

Frequently asked questions

  • Do I need a paid Webflow plan to export?

Yes. Code export needs a paid Webflow plan, and the free Starter plan doesn't include it. Webflow's help article on code export has the current details.

  • Where is the export option in Webflow?

Open the site in Webflow and go to Main menu, then Code export, or press Shift + E. Click Prepare ZIP and download the ZIP.

  • Will my Webflow forms work?

They show, but submissions go nowhere. Webflow says form processing isn't part of the export, and NudgeHost runs no server code.

  • What happens to my CMS pages?

Collection lists show their empty state and Collection pages lose their content. Webflow lets you export Collections as CSV for a backup.

  • Can I keep a page password?

Webflow's own password protection doesn't survive the export. On Pro or Studio you can put a password on the whole NudgeHost link. A password-protected site doesn't serve on a custom domain, so pick one or the other.

  • Can it use my own domain?

On Pro and Studio, as a subdomain such as www.example.com. A root domain such as example.com needs a different DNS record and isn't supported.

  • Why does the upload say the ZIP holds too many files?

A site can hold 200 files. A Webflow export is one file per page plus its styles, scripts and every image in the Assets panel, so remove images the site no longer uses and export again.

  • How do I update the site?

Export again and replace the ZIP in your dashboard. The address stays the same.

  • Do pages load without .html in the address?

Yes. A visit to /about serves about.html, so links written either way work.

  • Is there a size limit?

Yes. On the free plan, the ZIP and the unpacked site both have to fit in 25MB. On Pro and Studio the ZIP can be up to 100MB, and the site it unpacks into can grow to 250MB on Pro or 1GB on Studio.

  • Can I share it without making an account?

Yes. The site goes live straight away and lasts 7 days, and you can hold 3 links at once. Until you claim it, every page shows a small NudgeHost bar along the bottom.

  • Does my Webflow-hosted site keep working?

Yes. The NudgeHost link is a separate address, so a site you already publish on Webflow keeps serving as before.

  • Will Google find the site?

Not on a nudgehost.site address, which asks search engines not to list it. On a subdomain of your own domain with Pro or Studio, the site can show up in search like any other.

  • Is there a limit on how many people can open it?

No. There's no visitor cap on any plan.
